What do I actually get?

A digital download, not a posted print. Each purchase gives you the same artwork as five print-ready PDF files: A4, US Letter, 8 x 10 in, 5 x 7 in and 11 x 14 in, plus a one-page guide called Which Size Do I Print. You choose the size that fits your frame.

How do I get my files?

As soon as your payment goes through, a download link appears on your order confirmation page and in an email to the address you used at checkout. If it hasn't arrived within ten minutes, check your junk folder, then email hello@lovepetprints.com with your order number.

How do I print it?

Two ways. At home: open the PDF for your chosen size, set the printer to actual size (not fit to page) and use a matte or photo paper of 200 gsm or heavier. At a print shop: take the PDF on your phone or a USB to Officeworks or any local printer and ask for a colour print on card or photo paper. An A4 colour print costs a few dollars.

Which size should I pick?

All five come in the pack, so you don't have to decide before you buy. A4 suits most Australian and UK frames. 8 x 10 in and 11 x 14 in suit standard US frames. 5 x 7 in is the desk and shelf size.

Is the print personalised with my dog's name or photo?

No. Each print pairs a dog breed with a star sign. The portrait is an illustration of the breed, not of your dog, and the text is the sign's reading. Pick the breed and the sign, and the stars do the rest.

What is my dog's star sign?

Find their birthday below. If you only know the month, most dogs are happy to be whichever sign flatters them more.

Aries: 21 March to 19 April
Taurus: 20 April to 20 May
Gemini: 21 May to 20 June
Cancer: 21 June to 22 July
Leo: 23 July to 22 August
Virgo: 23 August to 22 September
Libra: 23 September to 22 October
Scorpio: 23 October to 21 November
Sagittarius: 22 November to 21 December
Capricorn: 22 December to 19 January
Aquarius: 20 January to 18 February

Can I get a refund?

Because the files are delivered instantly and can't be returned, I can't refund a change of mind. If a file is faulty, won't open, or isn't what the listing described, email me and I'll replace it or refund you. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected. Can I share or sell the file?

The download is for your personal use: print as many copies as you like for your own home or as a gift. Please don't share the file, post it online, or sell prints made from it.

The colours look different on paper.

Screens are backlit and paper isn't, so prints always look a little softer. Good paper closes most of the gap. If a print looks badly off, check the printer isn't set to draft or greyscale.

Is the artwork hand-painted?

No. Each portrait is made with AI-assisted illustration tools, then edited, arranged and finished by a person in our Vintage Naturalist style. We say so plainly because we'd rather you knew. It is not a hand-painted original.

Is the astrology, you know, real?

The readings are for fun. They're written by someone who has met a lot of dogs, not by the stars themselves. If your Scorpio Rottweiler turns out to be a gentle soul, the print will still look lovely on the wall.

What are your support hours?
